When you only perform short copy operations such as copying a few images that will only take a few seconds, then you might want the progress dialog to auto-close when finished. ( Menu -> Configuration -> Core Settings -> (tab) File System ). The default values for these options are configured in Core Settings. These 2 options specify when the copy/move progress bar should be closed: automatically after the operation is complete, and if it should close only for short file operations.
